With Idiot box

After a long time, I am getting glued to the hostel's idiot box. My all time favourites are "Rangoli" in DD, "Tu Tu Main Main" which was earlier telecasted in Star Plus and now in Star Utsav.

Just going back, I wonder how my taste has changed through times. I used to watch Detective serials("Reporter" starring Shekhar Suman, "Suraag" starring Soodesh Berry, "Tehkikaat",etc. in DD) and serials related to ghosts and spirits(Eg: "Aap Beethi" in DD). Nowadays, I am getting more inclined towards comedy. My current favourites are "Mr. Bean" in Pogo and "Office Office" in Sab TV. Well, I am laughing my heart out sitting in the ground floor of the hostel watching these and girls passing by have decided to better stay away from me. They are not daring to come near me and the TV to change the channel :-).What a pleasure!!!

Not to forget what happened 2 days back:

A girl: Whatz today's dinner?
I hear as: What is that u r watching?
Me: Mr. Bean
The girl: Oh! Rice today?
Me: Oh, no. I said Mr. Bean.
The girl:...........
Me(to myself): Y doesn't she have a look at the TV herself ???!!

Has this happened to you?

1. You are dining in a star hotel(where you use multiple plates). And the waiter takes off your plate, before you are done with the contents of the plate, without even asking you.

2. You get into a bus asking the driver if it goes via a particular place, only to be told by the conductor(after you get into the bus and it has started) that the bus wont go that way.

3. You come across book titled "How to walk in High heels" in management books section of a bookshop.

4. You find kids behave better than you.

5. You greet the birthday baby on the wrong day.


P.S: "How to walk in High heels" - The price of the book was about Rs.750+. Well, I initially thought this was yet another book that will go into the kitty of participants of beauty pageants.But found out that the book was all about Self Help, Inspiration, Improvement,etc. Consoling myself, I made up my mind not to form an opinion in first sight. Anyway, found another book,"All about Wearing High Heels: For Girls/Women " which comes under the category of Beauty and Fashion.
