Zindagi jeene ke liye, yeh saari dhuniya mere liye

In my blog "As usual.....unusual", I wrote only abt billboards, but everyone wrote comments on TV commercial ads too. In that case, my fav are:
1. The "Cadbury's Dairymilk" ad, which featured in television long time ago, in which a girl will b eating a Dairy milk sitting in the gallery while her boyfriend will b playing cricket. And after the guy hits a sixer, the girl will go dancing into the cricket field.
2. The "Pepsi" ad in which Sharukh disguises as Sachin to get Pepsi & calls Dravid as "Saurav", and is atlast handed over the bat by Azhar to play in the field.
3. "Tez" mustard oil ad, in which the girl approves of marrying the guy after knowing that the guy cooked the bittergourd(which the girl normally doesn't like) taste better.
4. The "Asian Paints" ad, coming in TV recently, where the girl decides on marrying the guy living in the house, which is painted brightly with Asian paints, only atlast to find that the guy is some 10 yr old & she decides to wait.
5. The "Close-up" toothpaste ad - esp. the sweet girl in the ad, who comes to brush her teeth in her morning.
6. The "Pepsi" ad featuring Sachin, Fardeen Khan & Kareena Kapoor, where Sachin drinks the Pepsi when the current goes off in the lift, & turns the blame on Kareena & Fardeen without knowing that they were only life-size cut-outs.
7. The caption of a toothpaste ad(I don't remember now - shud b Close-up or Colgate) - "Zindagi jeene ke liye, Yeh saari dhuniya mere liye"
And many more... Will update when I remember.

Science or Religion?

Hope everyone is familiar with Ashtami, Navami, Raghu Kaalam, auspicious timings, etc. Most of them consider these religious. So atheists hardly believe in those things. But I feel, there is more attached to these timings than the religious tag.
Actually, the religious beliefs on these auspicious & inauspicious timings were based on the planetary positions and motions. In olden days, it was difficult to spread these scientific explanations to everybody. So a religious face was given as people tend to follow things properly when it was given under religious title. But nowadays, even non-atheists r ignoring these inauspicious timings. They think that what they did in an inauspicious timing also turns out to b good, so its all nonsense. Its just like saying I walked with my eyes closed, but didn't get hurt. But the person can't walk always with his/her eyes closed. Its like this - if u go with u'r eyes closed, u may trip over or fall on something but it is not necessary that u SHOULD fall.
Expecting to hear from believers and non-believers...
