Ohoy! On the ramp, welcoming August 2005!
August was named in honor of Augustus Caesar. The month reputedly has 31 days because Augustus wanted as many days as Julius Caesar's July. Augustus placed the month where it is because that's when Cleopatra died. Before Augustus renamed August, it was called Sextilis in Latin, since it was the sixth month in the Roman calendar which started in March.
August begins on the same day of the week as February in a leap year.

Parthi has a better sense of humor compared to me (I am cruder, you see...)Actually I was a bit bewildered as to why the girl was so joyous when a stray dog had bittent he bottom of her skirt off...lol.

While creating avatars, I took the screenshot, saved in Paint, cut the avatar part alone and made a separate JPG file.
